How it Works

The Steps to Successful Integration

Step 1

Lab orders sent to ENQ MALDI are passed through to the ID/AST analyzer. ENQ saves the patient ID so that it can later match results from the Bruker Maldi Biotyper.

Step 2

The ID/AST analyzer result is received by ENQ MALDI and is immediately passed through to the LIS.

Step 3

Results received from the Biotyper are matched up to the patient ID previously received from the LIS. The patient ID is added to the message and sent to both the ID/AST analyzer and the LIS.

Step 4

Congratulations, your mass spec results are now integrated with your ID/AST analyzers and lab systems!

Versions

ENQ MALDI comes in two different versions: PRO and BASIC. The PRO version includes integration with a single Biotyper and a single lab system.

PRO

The PRO version of ENQ MALDI handles both ID results from the Biotyper as well as full communication with the ID/AST analyzer and LIS systems.
